On May 12, 2016, Facebook Global Marketing Solutions sent an e mail stating that the FreeTony fan page “had been removed from the platform … due to violating our terms of use.”  We asked Facebook to explain what was objectionable and if we could be given the chance to remove any such content, because we had over 4,000 fans on the page.  But Kabian at Facebook (no last name provided) sent an e mail on May 13th stating that “This page is permanently deleted from the platform.  There is nothing that can be done to get this page back.”
The Justice Department routinely leaks stories to the news media and creates narratives about its cases all the time.  When a grass roots effort aimed at exposing government misconduct gets going, it was abruptly shut down.  So much for those constitutional protections about freedom of expression.  What are your thoughts about this?  Any ideas or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.  Please share the www.FreeTonyViola.com web site with friends and family.  Thank you!
